We Are Moving to a Total Triage System with Accurx (our new digital platform) from 1st October 2025.

To improve access to care and ensure that every patient receives the right support at the right time, we are moving to a Total Triage System via Accurx which is our new Digital Platform (replacing Patchs).
What does this mean for you?
- All requests for appointments or advice will be assessed (triaged) first.
- You will need to submit an online request, or speak to our reception team via the phone or in person to complete a few questions to begin the triage process.
- A member of our clinical team will review your request and decide the most appropriate next step – this may include a face-to-face appointment, a phone or video consultation, a prescription, or signposting to another service.
Why are we doing this?
- To ensure patients are seen by the most appropriate clinician.
- To help us prioritise urgent needs more effectively.
- To reduce waiting times and improve continuity of care.
- To fulfil our NHS Contract obligations as Total Triage is mandatory from 1st October for all GP Practices to better manage increased demand, allocate resources efficiently to those with the most urgent needs, and improve patient access to care by providing timely and appropriate advice or appointments.
